Spring City Elder W. Woodruff, Salt Lake City. Or to Prest. John Taylor Dear Brother or Brethren On my way to Richfield conference, I met with the people of Mayfield—a fine little settlement and found them like children. We had a most excellent ^time^ there. Next day met with the people of Fayette, who seemed to be warm hearted and alive. In the evening of same day, met with the people of Gunnison—a large and attentive audience—a good time. Next day, Friday, started for Richfield where I had fondly hoped to meet Bro. E. Snow, but was much disappointed to find him absent, however, we attended the conference—held five long and strong meetings, and did the best we could. Found things there in
