12. I went in the morning 3 miles west and helped to secure a good
spring of water called the Tenney spring. We put up 4 logs for a
foundation for a house, we then rode Back and I went through
the forest I saw 2 antilope and a large flock of wild Turkies
and they were vary wild I was weary at night rode 30 Mils

Tenney springs 3 Miles west of the Mill we put
up 4 logs for the foundation of a house for the name
of Warren tR Tenney we then rode Back and
I went through the forest Hunting I saw 2 Antilop
But killed Nothing I also saw a large flok of
wild Turkies & they were vary wild I was
vary weary at night Rode I rode Horsbak some
30 Miles to day was vary weary at night 30 M[iles]
