9 An arrow An arrow I set apart Henry W. Despain for the Lamanite
Mission. We made arangements with Br Ladd to go to St John
and survey out the land for the Brethren I wrote 2 letters to the
A hand pointing to the right Meadows & St John we returned home to Sunset 25 Mils
I there found a package of Letters for me 2 from John Taylor
2 from Jaques, 2 from G. Q. Cannon, 2 from Phebe & Wilford
2 from J. G. Bleak & another man 10 Letters. also the Deseret News
we find a strong spirit getting up in congress against the Saints
