Dear Brother
Your letters arvd [arrived]
all safe. I have tried to get your
matters before Br Taylor but have
not been able to Do it untill now
I have just got his answer with
regard to the money, he feels that He
Cannot advance any money for that
purpose at the pres[e]nt time. As Trustee
in the trust He is paying 10 perc[en]ts
intestet [interest] on $100,000, as the Churchs
Debt, had to borrow on the settle[men]t
at the Estate Law suit $60,000, at the
Bank and he has so many Calls from
so many sources He has no money at
p[r]esent on hand that He could use for
that purpose. I would be glad to
help you in the Matter if I could
I consider the place very cheap and I
wish you had means to buy
