Dear Brother
Your letter of
Aprail 14 arvd last night which I was
very glad to get I am always glad
to hear from any of the Elders of Isreal
who are Labering in the y vineyard of
the Lord you speak about th difference
between my Laber & that of my time in
England yes this is quit[e] a difference and
the is a cause for it all When I was in
England in 1840 I brought into the Church
in Harfordshire & [illegible] County 1800 souls
in Eight month Labers and I suppos this
is as m[an]y as all the Elders in England now
bring in in 2 or 3 years Out of 600 of the
United Brethren with 45 preachers I baptzd
all exept one soul. I had all there chapels
& houses licened for preaching in my hands
the first 30 days after my arrival and that
was the g[r]eatest work ever performed since the
