Salt Lake City, Utah, ^St George^ President John Taylor Dear Brother I have just learned (I think from a reliable source) that Judge Boreman will hold a term of court at St George at the close of the present term at Beaver And that a commision with the clerk Zane will be stationed at St George vary soon. under these circumstances Will it not be Necssary to close the Temple while this order of things exists for all the leading men of the Temple are poligamist and a list of their Names are in the Hands of the court at Beaver I would like your views upon this subject as soon as possible any communication handed to Brother Jaques will reach me I remain as ever yours respectfully W
