Dear Brother
We have
erected a meeting house in our
ward which has cost some twenty
five hundred dollars, and the
people have subscribed very
liberaly according to their means
and numbers; we have forty eight
families, fourteen of which are
widows.
We wish to ask you to give us the
privilege to use four hundred
(400) dollars of the tithing of our
ward if you can. If so we
think we can pull through and
soon get our house ready for
