Letter from Angus Munn Cannon, 22 October 1888
President Wilford Woodruff, Dear Brother:— It is with regret we now trouble you to grant us a favor. Our stake acadamey is in successful operation, and notwithstanding about 50 aplicants have been denied admiss- ion, for want of room to accommodate them. You will readily understand this when we inform you that we have already received and admitted to our schools, over 250. Our first term will expire on 2nd prox. while the second will com- mence on the 5th. It is usually the case that the 2nd term greatly out numbers those apprlying for admission at the first, hence our cause for troubling
