June 11, 1889 ~ Tuesday

June 101, 1889
This is the first day I have been able to walk out of Doors
I had one stack of Lucern put up to day also the orchard
was watered for the first time this year I was in the
midst of it watching it a good deal I am still quite
weak & feeble

Rcd Pres Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother I received a letter from you dated April 27th 89 in regard to going to Norway on a Mission which I answerd shartly after stating I wold do all in my power to be ready at the time apointed (August 6th) Now Dear Brother I find that it is going to crowd me to get ready, as the sale for stock and that which I have to dispose of is very dull and if ton months longer can be given me I think I can dispose of the prodacks of my gardin and orchard and be more prepared to go

First Presidency Salt Lake City, Utah Dear Brethern, Yours of the 25th ult. came duly to hand. I feel very grateful to you for considering the circumstances under which I was placed, and am also pleased to state that I am well until now, and ^trust^ the chills with whitch I have been afflicted will be eradicated before they produce any bad fruit. I acted according to instructions disposing of Mission furniture, burning Books, and Pamphlets with a Brother whos address is Sr Marcino Condensa 2a Necatillar No 4 also according to new numeration (which is not used yet) 2a Necatillar No 2225; and returned home in pease meeting family and friends all satisfied beyond expression. God did bless while in Mexico, and in time of trouble gave me his Holy Spirit. Your dispatch in answer to the one I sent May 6th did not reach me until too late; its arrived late in the day tuesday
