And Counselors.
Much beloved Brethren,
We are just in receipt of your
long and most interesting epis-
tle of the 23rd of May, And now
hasten to pen a few lines in
reply. Seeing that it arrived
too late for us to return by the
present mail Steamer, that
you may know that it was
received, as also of our moove-
ments. But it will necessarly
have to be brief for the lack
of time, as we are now trav-
ling through the district, holding
conferences.
We had learned by the pre-
vious mail, of the Organ-
azation of the First Presidency
