Dec 5, 1890 Prests Wilford Woodruff, George Q. Cannon & Joseph F. Smith Dear Brethren: Before 3 O'Clock today there should be paid $50,000 to the Dyers; $10,000 of this amount is in the Treasury. All eyes are turned upon you to witness your action. The Bullion Beck party are expecting your defeat, and are looking on with no disposition to help. That it would give them the greatest gratification to have it so I am uncharitable enough to believe. That your efforts, with all the Church presidents and authorities, and the best of the people at your back, will be successful in carrying this control I have not the least doubt; but it will take time and cannot be of much presant and available use.
