Rexburg, Idaho, President Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake City Dear Brother Our Quarterly Conference was held Sunday and Monday 16th & 17th inst. We had present with us President Seymour B. Young who gave the saints some timely instructions spiritually and also treated upon the observance of the laws of health. All the wards were reported, the people have experienced a good deal of sickness and quite a number of deaths have occurred particularly in Rexburg and the disease has not yet abated much. President Ricks left conference Sunday evening for Boise, to give any necessary counsel to the Brethren on trial for alleged conspiracy and illegal voting.
