Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Wilford Woodruff, President Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. City. Dear Sir: The enclosed request from Col. John W. Donnellan, Chairman of the General Committee of Arrangements of the Irrigation Congress, at Salt Lake City, September 15th, 16th, and 17th, 1891, was endirsed at a meeting of the joint Committees held last night and I was then instructed to present the same, which I now take pleasure in doing. Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. Wilford Woodruff, President Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. City. Dear Sir: By action of the joint Committees of the coming great Irrigation Congress, September 15th, 16th, and 17th, 1891, held at the Chamber of Commerce last evening, I was instructed to communicate with you and ascertain whether or not the use of Assembly Hall, in Temple Block, could be obtained for holding THE IRRIDGATION CONGRESS. I therefore, on behald of the General Committee of Arrangements, present this formal request for the use of the Assembly Hall, for the session of the Irrigation Congress, during the days and evenings of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, September 15th, 16th, and 17th, 1891. Awaiting a reply at your earliest conveniaence, I am, Yours Very Respectfully Frank K. Gillespie. Secretary General Committee of Arrangements, Irrigation Congress.
