Salt Lake City, Utah. . PREST. ORSON SMITH, Cache Stake of Zion. Dear Brother: Your favor of the 15th inst. regarding Elder Canute Halversen is to hand. From your representation of his case the suggestion presents it- self to us that if there are no difficulties in the way, and such do not appear in your letter, that he get an ecclesiastical divorce from the woman with which^om^ he has not lived for fourteen years, then be rebaptizes^d^ and have his present wife sealed to him in the Temple. Should there be any objec- tions to this course please advise me. Your Brother, Wilford Woodruff
