Hyrum, Utah, President Wilford Woodruff Dear Bro Replying to a letter of Feb 4th 93 written for Jens N Lee will say I saw the Prest of the stake and as he understands the circumstances advised me to take sufficiant space to fully relate all the Facts in the case, when I came to Hyrum I found J N Lee living with Andersons the place where he now lives I came in the spring of 91 he continued to live there until some time in sept of same year when Tena Anderson came to me and requested that I should find him another place, as he Lee had got so unruly and abusive that she could not nor would not keep him any longer, as she was afrade of hir life, and was intirley worn out with him. I at once tried to find another home for him, but no one would take him. of course a little time elapsed during which I was taken sick, and was not able to do any thing in the matter for 3 or 4 weeks when finaly she came to me and told me I must take him at once or she would turn him out in the street.
