President W. Woodruff:
Dear Brother:
In answer to the letter I received
from you last week, I can say I feel glad of having
such an opportunity, but feel that a great responsi-
bility rests upon me in taking up such a great cause.
I have found out by my Parents and friends at
home, that they will help me with the aid which I
will need, that I may be ready to go at the time
which you appointed.
That with the aid of my Father in heaven I
may be abele to fulfil my mission honorably before
hHim, and also myself. Is the desire of
