Dear Brother:
I received a notice from
you to go on a mission to
the Eastern States. To go
at as early a date as the
16 of December. And in reply
will say it will be impossible
for me to go at as early a
date as that. I am
City Marshal and Supt.
of Water Works here, and
I have got to collect the
water rent and straighten
up the books and it will
take me until the first
of January to do it. But
I can go anytime in
