Dear Sir, In reply to the call to go on a mission to the Southern States, I will say, that I feel my weakness and unworthyness, for such an important labor as preaching the gospel to the inhabitants of the earth. I feel like it was more than I am capable of doing. But I will say this, I am at your service. I am willing to go and do the best that I can.
