24 ^ A hand pointing to the right^ I wrote one Letter to Bell Moses I met with
many Parters [parties] to day. I met with Mr Wood Organist
who proposes to change our Organ at some $10 or $14
thousands Dollars

Afton Wyo. Pres. Wilford Woodruff Salt Lake Utah, Dr. Brother: Yours of the 20th inst. duly received, in reply would say that the call is perfectly agreeable with my feel- ings, and I thank God that I am con- sidered worthy, by the authorities, to be se- lected for so honorable a calling. I think I can obtain sufficient ^(means)^ to land me at my destination, & probably enough to keep me running for a while after I arrive. Prest Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother Hyrum Christensen of this place were called some two or three years sin ago, to take a mission to Scandavana his circomstances were such he thought he could not go, heis circumstances is not very good as yet, ^but^ he feals as though it is still reasting on him. he has worked and traided around, and gatherd up a little money, enough he thinks that he can now take a cluster mission, he asked me if I did I thought his mission could be changed to the North Western or Northern States mission, if So he feaels to go now, aso as s to leave Salt Lake City Tuesday evening or wensday marning 10th or 11th March next. So to reach Indipendance Jackson County Missouri by the 13th to atend the conferance thare on 13, 14 & 15. and if this is not the time and place the conferance will be held then at Such time to reach the conferance, this is his most earnest deseres and wishes, I being Some what aquainted with his abilities, and circumstances, in my best judgment I would feal to recommend or favor the change for him, from Scandanava to the North western or Northern States Mission, Yours Truly Parley Christiansen BP (he is Amarican Born) over
