Letter from James Ephraim Steele, Robert Lee Bybee, and Joseph Smith Mulliner Sr., 23 April 1896
Iona, Idaho, Pres. Wilford Woodruff, Salt Lake City Ut. Dear Brother, We enclose you letter from the Bishopric of the Moreland Ward of the Bingham Stake of Zion: Asking for some help on their meeting House: The people of Moreland are very poor they having been to consider- able expense in taking out a canal known as the Peoples Canal. They have pur- chased their lumber and material for their meeting House from outsiders who are crowding them for the pay. And if same is not paid at once it will cause the people considerable extra expense and in- convenience. We would recomend that if this meets your approval that you give them some assistance to help them in liquidating this dept. Your Brethren in the Gospel. Jas E. Steele R. L. Bybee J S Mulliner
