2 I Met with the Power Company in the morning & Attended
to Business the board all but myself & Asahel went to Ogden
I signed 63 of Z.C.M.I. Stock. We are much crowded
^ A hand pointing to the right^ in business I wrote 2 letters to Mary & Wilford Azmon W.

Honored & Respcted President Woodruff, Dear Brother: I am in receipt of your letter and I take the call as a Mishionary to be a great honor bestoed on me; but under the circumstances which I am placed under, I will ask you to please excuse me for the present time; I do not feel capable of going on a mission untill I go to school awhile for I do not understand the Princables of the Gospel well enuf to teach it to others. Letter from Crandell Dunn, 4 June 1896

P.O. Box B. Salt Lake City, Utah, Elder Crandell Dunn, Collinston. Dear Brother: By direlction of President Woodruff I enclose a letter lately received by him with regard to the excommiunication of James Strang from the Church. In a former tletter to the writer, President Woodruff said that he and Bro. Geo. A. Smith cut Strang off the Church for adultery. You will see in the enclosed letter that this is dis- puted, and that your name is mentioned as connected with this action.
