Elder Wm. C. Spence,
Dear Brother:
I am desirous of making a brief and
quiet trip to the coast by way of Portland for the benefit of my health,
which at present is quite feeble, and wish to have Elder L. John Nuttall
accompany me. I request that you will provide the necessary transpor-
tation for this purpose.
