LOA, WAYNE COUNTY, UTAH President Wilford Woodruff. Salt Lake City Dear Brother, Elder John C. Jacobs. of the Teasdale ward in this Stake of Zion is callded on a mission, and expects to start about next april. Now one of the Counsellors of Bp. Coleman of Teasdale has been called on a mission to Great Britan, and is now in his field of labor, thus leaving a vacancy in the Bishopric. Would it be consistent, and agreeable to your feelings if Brother Jacobs was wanted to fill the vacancy in the Bishop- ric to have him released from his mission for that purpose. We have not said anything to Bro Coleman about it, but feel that Bro Jacobs would be a good counsellor, providing his labors could be had Awaiting your reply we remain your Brethren Willis E.
