Dear Brother:
You desiring
my feelings in regard
to my call to the Northern
States for a mission, I
will endevor to explain
them to you.
As far as I can learn
I understand you want
for the mission field
young men who have
a fair education and
sumewhat versed in
scripture; as for an
education I can merely
read and write a little,
