of Aintab & Alepo respectively, in the State of Alepo,
and members of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints, commonly called Mormons,
knowing the liberality of the most Excelent Gov-
ernment in allowing freedom to all denom
enations to Govern their own people religiously
according to their own foundamental principles
and articles of faith. We do hereby petition your
very noble Exelency to be a means in assisting us
to become acknowledge as a people and to have our
own cheif Elder appointed. That we may attain
to this priviledge we shall ever pray.
