travled through Florence & spent

17^th went to coveington crossed
the ferry into Cincinnati visited
the City. Saw Conway & webst[er]
they told me Brother Asahel
had located himself in terre
haute ^indiana^ in company with Robert
Smith. I ways on the wharf when
the Flora was towed in with
one dead & 11 scalded by the bursting
of the pipes I saw them taken out
Spent the night at cincinnati
on board the ^Robert^ Emmet

18th Left Cincinnati on board the
Robert Emmet passed the little
Miami River travled to portsmouth

19th in the morning there was a
large Buck came swiming down
the river three men enter a Skiff
