13^th A rainy morning met in council during
the day

August 14, 1846 ~ Friday

14^th Friday an exceding hot day I went to
seek out A place for washing. my oxen ran
away from me. I chased them about 2 miles
in the hot sun And came near melting myself

August 15, 1846 ~ Saturday

15^th I met in council with the Twelve
to attend to such business as our circumstances
required I Baptized Phebe in the evening
for the restoration of her health it seemed to
be A benefit to her
