I met in the Evening with the Presidency & Twelve for prayer
Presidencyt Young spoke about sending a man to take
the place of Joseph W. Young deceased but no one was
appointed. Appointments were made to hold meetings
at Logan & Paris

June 23, 1873 ~ Monday

23rd I Paid a Note in favor of John Henry Smith
of $500 & $11.20 interest on the same to R. L. Campbell
I went to the field in the Evening

June 24, 1873 ~ Tuesday

24. I spent the day at the farm laboring

June 25, 1873 ~ Wednesday

25 I returned to the city & wrote a Letter to P W Woodr[u]ff
& spent the day laboring

June 26, 1873 ~ Thursday

26 I left S L City at 6 oclok with Presidents B. Yo[u]ng
G A. Smith & the Twelve to go to Logan to hold a 3 days Meeting
we rode in a Utah Central car to LCorrin then took a Narrow
guage car on the Utah Northern to Logan arived at 10 oclok 100 M[iles]

June 27, 1873 ~ Friday

27. We Met at the Bowery at 10 oclok Wm W Preston prayed
G. A. Smith spoke 33 Minutes Henry A Lunt 10 M[inutes]
A M Musser 27, & G. Q. Cannon 14. At Noon we
ordained the following persons Patriarchs
