Left Mr Kelleam & travled 40 miles
most of the way through mud & water stoped
for the night with Wm S Clon at second
creek in St Francis County 2 signers to petition

March 24, 1835 ~ Tuesday
Left S Clonn travled to John Casbeer
Distance 14 miles. The time had now arived
when my colleague Deemed it expedient to
take a speedy journey to his family at Kirtland
and on the 24th of March I took the parting hand
with Brother Henry Brown which left me alone
I preached in the evening to Mr Casbeer house
to a large congregation got 2 signers to the petition
Left Mr Fields travled to & crossed the Mississippi
River into Memphis state of Tennessees 14 miles
preached at the house of Josighah Jacksons to a
company of wicked men ^they got Enough of me^ ^they took me for an impos
tor & wanted to see if I
could preach^
