be settled. As we have our own home, my family will
have no rent to pay, and for the feeding and clothing
of them while I may be absent, I can but rely
upon the blessings of heaven, feeling assured that God
will provide for all needs, and that the in Zion
will not allow them to suffer.
I can speak and understand French some-
what. The German language I also understand to a
limited extent. I was born in the Canton of ,
Switzerland, and have some relatives there.
So, with the hope that I may be of service as
a servant of God, if my brethren deem me worthy of,
and competent to fill, such an honorable calling, if it
is suitable to you, about the last of March or first
of April, 1892, I can be prepared to answer to your
call.
