out the room, and immediately spread down our blanke[t]s, so as to hold
a night to the room. It was but a short time afterward that our b
brethren who were attacked by cholera, were brough in and liad upon
our beds. None of us ever used those blankets agains, for they
were buried with the diead. So we gained nothing but experience
by being selfish, and we lost our bedding.
