I'm Lexie Kay Rynearson, and I'm the communications director for the Wilford Woodruff Papers Foundation.

Wilford Woodruff was the prophet that spent more time than any other in the temple and I'm so grateful to him for that and I feel like there's so much that I can learn from him. My story is not unique. We all have trials that we go through, but for me, it feels like those trials just keep coming and they never end, and my most recent one was losing my husband. But when I read the writings of Wilford Woodruff, I learned more about him and his life, and he went through so many trials and hardships.

Each time he leaned into his faith and he knew that the Lord was with him through everything that he was going through, and as I read his writings, I'm able to gain that inspiration, that all the different trials that he went through and how each time he turned to the Lord and there's instruction and inspiration in those words of his documents, that helped me through my trials to strengthen my relationship with my savior, Jesus Christ.
