Day in the Life

Transcript

On August 2, 1840 Wilford Woodruff wrote about his successful missionary work in England. He says:

“I am happy to learn on our return to the Churches in Herefordshire & adjoining Country that the work of God is rolling on rapidly upon every hand. The Elders & Priest are universally blessed in their ministry in this part of the vineyard. They are Baptizing daily. The churches here now number about 800, all of which have embraced the gospel within five months from the Church of England & all other Protestant churches.  I Pray the Lord to send the Angel of his presence before us & prepare the way that much good may be done in the name of the Lord. I feel thankful to our Heavenly Father for opening such a speedy & effectual door in this region of country.”

What missionary work have you been able to do? How has it been a blessing to you?
