Abraham Hoagland Cannon

Abraham Hoagland Cannon (1859-1896) was born 12 Mar. 1859 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of George Quayle Cannon and Elizabeth Hoagland. He married Sarah Ann Jenkins in 1878; participated in plural marriage. He became president of the Quorum of the Seventy in 1882 and a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in 1889, and he served under the prophet Wilford Woodruff. He died 19 Jul. 1896 in Salt Lake City.
