Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington

Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington (1769–1852) was christened 29 Apr. 1769 in Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland. He was the son of Garrett Wellesley and Anne Hill-Trevor. He married Catherine Sarah Dorothea Pakenham on 10 Apr. 1806 in Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland. He died 14 Sep. 1852 in Walmer, Kent, England. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
