Delana R. Eckels
1806-1888
Delana R. Eckels (1806-1888) was born 19 Aug. 1806 in Kentucky. He was the son of James Eckels and Elizabeth Secrest. He married Louisa K. Elliot on 16 Jul. 1827 in Monroe Co., Indiana. He met with Wilford Woodruff several times from 1857 to 1860 while serving as Chief Justice for Utah Territory. He died 29 Oct. 1888 in Greencastle, Putnam Co., Indiana.
