Francis Knapp Benedict, b. 1810
Francis Knapp Benedict (1810-1889) was born 11 Apr. 1810 in New Marlborough, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Francis K. Benedict and Phebe Northrup. He married Emeline Mott. He was baptized in 1833. He was ordained an Elder by Wilford Woodruff in 1837 in Connecticut and received a blessing from Wilford Woodruff on 8 Jan. 1889. He died 12 Jan. 1889 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
