John Fitch Kinney
John Fitch Kinney (1816-1902) was born 2 Apr. 1816 in New Haven, Oswego Co., New York. He was the son of Stephen Fitch Kinney and Abby Brockway. He married Hannah D. Hall on 29 Jan. 1839 in Knox Co., Ohio; widowed 1 May 1895. He married Lucy Jane Leonard on 9 May 1899 in San Diego, San Diego Co., California. He was the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Territory of Utah and a delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives for Utah Territory who associated with Wilford Woodruff from 1854 to 1897. He died 16 Aug. 1902 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
