Johnson (Johnston) F. Lane (Lain) (1803-1855) was born 22 Feb. 1803 in Stafford Co., Virginia. He was the son of George Lane and Mary. He married Matilda Kelly before 1834. He attended church services with Wilford Woodruff in 1835 and 1836 in Tennessee and Kentucky. He died Apr. 1855 in Sioux Twp., Monona Co., Iowa.
