Lydia Goldthwaite Bailey Knight Dalton McClellan (1812-1884) was born 9 Jun. 1812 in Sutton, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Jesse G. Goldthwaite and Sally Burt. She married Calvin Bailey in 1828, and they had two children; separated in 1832. She married Newel Knight on 24 Nov. 1835 in Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, and they had seven children; widowed in 1847. She was sealed to John Dalton about 1852, and they had one child; separated about 1857. She was sealed to James McClellan in 1864 in Payson, Utah Co., Utah Territory. She was baptized 27 Oct. 1833 in Upper Canada, British North America. She was mentioned in a letter from Daniel Tyler to Wilford Woodruff in 1881. She died 3 Apr. 1884 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory.
