Maria Theresa of Austria
Maria Theresa of Austria (Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christine) (1717-1780) was born 13 May 1717 in Vienna, Austria. She was the daughter of Charles VI and Elisabeth Christine of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. She married Francis Stephen I on 12 Feb. 1736 in Vienna, and they had sixteen children. She died 29 Nov. 1780 in Vienna. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
