Mariah Pulsipher Burgess

Mariah (Maria) Pulsipher Burgess (1822-1892) was born 17 Jun. 1822 in Choconut, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Zerah Pulsipher and Mary Brown. She married William Burgess Jr. on 17 Sep. 1840 near Lima, Adams Co., Illinois, and they had nine children. She was baptized 11 Jan. 1832 in Onondaga Co., New York. She participated in temple work for Wilford Woodruff's ancestors on 1 Mar. 1877 in the St. George Utah Temple. She died 26 Dec. 1892 in Huntington, Emery Co., Utah Territory.
