Matilda Irene Thompson Bleak Smith
Matilda Irene Thompson Bleak Smith (1861-1937) was born 27 Dec. 1861 in Rockville, Washington Co., Utah Territory. She was the daughter of William H. Thompson and Matilda Young. She was sealed to James Godson Bleak on 3 Feb. 1882, and they had seven children; widowed 30 Jan. 1918. She married Joseph Stanford Smith on 18 Jun. 1918 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah. She was baptized 14 May 1871. She and her sister participated with Wilford Woodruff in adminstering proxy temple sealings on 15 Mar. 1881. She died 26 Aug. 1937 in St. George.
