Miner G. Atwood
Miner G. Atwood (1823-1887) was born 18 Mar. 1823 in Willington, Tolland Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Dan Atwood and Polly Sawyer. He married Mary Delilah Guilde on 6 Oct. 1844 in Lisbon, New London Co., Connecticut; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 22 Jul. 1849. He traveled in the same pioneer company as Wilford Woodruff in 1850, and Wilford Woodruff administered to him after a stroke on 25 Jun. 1882 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He died 10 May 1887 in Salt Lake City.
