Napoleon III of France (Charles Louis Napoléon Bonaparte) (1808-1873) was born 20 Apr. 1808 in Paris, Île-de-France, France. He was the son of Louis Napoléon Bonaparte and Hortense de Beauharnais. He married Eugénia María de Montijo de Guzmán on 29 Jan. 1853. He died 9 Jan. 1873 in Chislehurst, Kent, England. He was one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
