Parley Parker Pratt, b. 1837
Parley Parker Pratt (1837-1897) was born 25 Mar. 1837 in Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio. He was the son of Parley Parker Pratt and Thankful Halsey. He married Esther Romania Bunnell on 23 Feb. 1859 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 28 Nov. 1847 in Great Salt Lake City. He spoke at several meetings that Wilford Woodruff in 1857, wrote to him in 1888, and served with him in church positions throughout their lives. He died 25 Aug. 1897 in Salt Lake City.
