Thomas Stephen Williams

Thomas Stephen Williams (1827-1860) was born 2 Jan. 1827 in Columbia, Maury Co., Tennessee. He was the son of Alexander Williams and Isabella Gill. He married Alvina Merrill on 25 Aug. 1842 in Unionville, Hancock Co., Illinois; participated in plural marriage. He attended a meeting with Wilford Woodruff on 26 Jan. 1856 to discuss establishing a route between the western states and California. He died 18 Mar. 1860 in California.
