Oct 26 I spent the day at Sister Grahams
[FIGURE] I wrote a letter to Sister Eunice, & in the
evening I attempted to visit Brother Burge in King street
41. I walked from Bowery to Broadway & took stage to
stop at King st but the driver did not understand me
& he left me a mile from Brother Burge & in
walking to the place being weak in Body I was
flung into a great perspiration & I took a severe
& dangerous cold which setteled upon my lungs I
spent the evening at Brother Burge Brother Parley &
a number of other Elders was present
