February 19, 1840 ~ Wednesday

Feb 19th I spent the day at Alford Cordons & in
the evening I walked to New Castle & preached there
was two Methodist Preachers present & they
were filled with anger because of the truth
of God one by name of Robert Brown
rejected my testimony & said I should go to the
Bottomless pit & all that followed me. It was
manifest what spirit was in the man. After
meeting I Baptized one & walked to Hanly &
to Burslem & spent the night at Elder Cordons
I dreamed that I saw men & children killed to be
eat because of the soreness of a famine 7 mi
