April 12, 1840 ~ Sunday

12th Sunday I preached to the Saints in Stoke,
in the afternoon in Hanley, & in the evening to
a large congregation. I spent the night in
Burslem with Elder Clark he had the fever
& ague I lade hands upon him & he was
better. I confirmed one 4 miles
